Since the beginning of the year, 9,387 agricultural enterprises have obtained UAH 65.24 billion in bank loans for development. Of these, 5,749 businesses have received UAH 27.34 billion in loans under the government programme "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9".

Agrarians in the following regions received the largest amount of loans under various programmes:

• Kyiv region - UAH 16.56 billion allocated to 911 enterprises;
• Dnipropetrovsk region - UAH 4.35 billion for 694 enterprises;
• Cherkasy region - UAH 4.14 billion for 388 agricultural enterprises;
• Kirovohrad region - UAH 4.0 billion for 1,127;
• Lviv region - UAH 4.0 billion for 590;
• Odesa region - UAH 3.72 billion for 798;
• Vinnytsia region - UAH 3.55 billion for 899;
• Ternopil region - UAH 3.54 billion for 354.

Under the "Affordable Loans at 5-7-9" programme, enterprises in the following regions received the most funds:

• Kyiv - UAH 3.47 billion for 560 farms;
• Kirovohrad - UAH 2.54 billion for 758;
• Vinnytsia - UAH 2.41 billion for 575;
• Odesa - UAH 2.23 billion for 534;
• Kharkiv - UAH 2.07 billion allocated for 342;
• Dnipropetrovsk - UAH 1.66 billion for 365;
• Lviv - UAH 1.57 billion for 410;
• Volyn - UAH 1.55 billion for 307.

Background information

Concessional financing for agricultural producers under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 Programme in 2024-2025 is made possible by the World Bank's support under the Ukraine Agriculture Recovery Inclusive Support Emergency (ARISE). The programme facilitates access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Farmers can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are granted at 5-9% per annum, depending on the loan category and business entity.
