As of this morning, 96 settlements in 4 regions were without power due to the weather.

GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION

No scheduled power outages will be applied today. Please check the official websites of your regional power distribution companies for any changes.

Our power system has lost 9GW of capacity due to enemy attacks. The enemy continues to shell the energy infrastructure, with substations and power lines coming under fire every day, which leads to restrictions on electricity transmission.

To maintain the stable operation of the power system, it is important to use electricity rationally and economically, especially during peak hours - from 7:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

As of this morning, 96 settlements in Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions are without power supply due to the weather.

STATE OF NETWORKS

Southern region: a high-voltage overhead line connecting the power systems of Ukraine and Moldova was briefly out of service. Due to technological disruptions, the voltage at the substation decreased, unloading renewable energy facilities. The power supply has been restored. In addition, a high-voltage overhead line was shut down due to grassland fires caused by a thunderstorm.

Central region: A high-voltage overhead line was disconnected. The reason was damage on the section that runs through the territory of Belarus (after 24.02.22, Ukrainian power engineers have no access to its maintenance).

Northern region: a substation and household consumers lost power. The power supply was restored using the backup scheme.

EMERGENCIES

Ternopil region: a tree fell on an overhead line and broke the wire, causing it to fall on the fence. A man trying to climb over it came to a dangerous distance and was fatally electrocuted.

POWER OUTAGES TO CONSUMERS

Over the past day, power companies restored power to 10,123 consumers who had been cut off as a result of hostilities and technological disruptions.

In total, 492 settlements remain without power supply as of this morning due to hostilities and technical disruptions.
