Due to bad weather, 337 settlements remain without power supply; three power engineers injured in Donetsk region as a result of shelling
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
In Kharkiv, hourly blackout schedules were applied yesterday, which resulted in power outages for about 230,000 consumers. The same schedules are being applied this morning – 115,000 customers were disconnected. There are no plans to restrict consumers in other regions of the country.
No electricity shortages are expected. Ukraine’s power system is operating in a stable and balanced manner.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE BAD WEATHER
Due to the bad weather, 337 settlements are without power. In particular, 180 settlements in Kyiv region, 58 in Chernihiv region, 48 in Zhytomyr region, 22 in Khmelnytskyi region, 20 in Dnipropetrovsk region, 5 in Cherkasy region, and 4 in Kirovohrad region.
Power engineers are working to restore electricity to consumers as soon as possible.
EMERGENCIES
Last night in Donetsk region, three employees of Donbasenergo were injured as a result of enemy shelling. They were taken to hospital.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
A 110 kV overhead line was cut off in Donetsk region. Hostilities continue in the area.
A 150 kV overhead line was disconnected in Dnipropetrovsk region due to a broken wire. Hostilities are ongoing in the area. Consumers were not cut off from power supply.
STATE OF THE GRID
Yesterday, a 330 kV overhead line of NPC Ukrenergo was disconnected in Kyiv region. The line has been restored.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.51 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 5,415 MWh. Exports are also planned in the amount of 1,487 MWh.
