Enemy shelled a mine in Donetsk region; due to massive russian attacks, electricity supply to consumers is restricted
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Today, the schedules of hourly outages for consumers are applied from 0:00 to 24:00. If the situation changes, the information will be updated.
The main reason for the restrictions is the enemy’s attacks on the energy infrastructure and the negative consequences of these attacks.
There will be no power cuts for critical infrastructure companies and companies that import 80% of their electricity in accordance with a government decree.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING
The nighttime massive hostile attack did not result in any damage to energy facilities. However, the fighting that continued throughout the day resulted in new blackouts in the frontline Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions. In Donetsk region, buildings caught fire as a result of hostile shelling of a mine. At the time, there were no miners underground, and three security guards were in a shelter.
In Donetsk region, an overhead line of the distribution system operator was also disconnected during the hostilities. This led to a decrease in the load at the generating facility.
In total, power companies restored electricity to more than 14,700 customers who lost power due to hostilities and technological disruptions in a number of regions.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.10 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 28,560 MWh. No exports are expected.
