CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING
At night, the enemy attacked the territory near Khmelnytskyi NPP. The explosion damaged the windows in the administrative and laboratory buildings. Due to the damage to the power lines, 1,860 consumers in the towns of Slavuta and Netishyn in Khmelnytskyi region were cut off from electricity.
Restoration work will begin as soon as power engineers are allowed to the site of the damage.
POWER GENERATION
Two thermal power units that were out of service yesterday have been repaired and connected to the grid. Three thermal power units were also taken out for emergency repairs yesterday. The repairs were completed by the end of the day.
The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.
STATE OF THE GRID
Yesterday, the 750 kV overhead line of the transmission system operator Ukrenergo in Vinnytsia region was disconnected. Consumers did not lose power.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
As a result of technological disruptions yesterday, consumers in Kirovohrad region were temporarily cut off from power supply. Some consumers in Chernihiv and Kyiv regions were also affected.
Due to adverse weather conditions, 6,600 consumers in Khmelnytskyi region and 11,100 consumers in Lviv region were cut off from electricity supply.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS
Due to shelling in Donetsk region, 9 settlements lost power. Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions are also without electricity.
Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
AFTERMATH OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
In Kherson, 1,200 consumers remain without power after the flooding. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
The water level in the ZNPP cooling pond remains stable at 15.69 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports totalled 166 MWh over the past day. Exports to Slovakia and Moldova totalled 3,271 MWh.
