Situation in the power system as of January 22: no electricity shortage is reported, with six units of generating equipment in standby.
GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION
There is no shortage of electricity recorded in the power system. The needs of consumers are covered by domestic generation, and electricity imports are also planned.
A TPP unit has been put back into operation after short-term repairs, and 2 units and 4 thermal generation blocks are in reserve, which will be connected to the grid if necessary. The system is balanced. No outage schedules are applied.
However, the Ministry of Energy reminds of the importance of reducing the load on the power system during peak consumption hours (from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00). Please consume electricity responsibly.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
As a result of hostilities, a 150 kV overhead line in Dnipropetrovsk region was disconnected, resulting in a power outage for household consumers. All consumers were supplied with power from the reserve. Hostilities are ongoing in the area.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.61 meters. This is sufficient to meet the plant's needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
Electricity imports for the current day are forecasted at 6,595 MWh. No exports are planned.
