No electricity shortage; the enemy attacked a high-voltage substation in Kirovohrad region

Yesterday, network restrictions were applied to consumers in Kharkiv. Hourly blackouts are expected in the city for the current day. In other regions, there are currently no restrictions.
A power unit at one of the thermal power plants was taken out of service for emergency repairs due to a technical malfunction.
At the same time, there is no shortage of electricity and it is not expected for the current day. Yesterday, due to the sunny weather and, accordingly, intensive electricity generation by SPPs, NPC Ukrenergo reduced the load of renewable energy facilities by a total of 1,264 MWh throughout the day.
The power system of Ukraine operates in a stable and balanced manner.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
An attack by an enemy drone caused a fire at one of the high-voltage substations in Kirovohrad region.
Also, a 330 kV overhead line in Dnipropetrovsk region was disconnected during an air raid alert. Repair works are underway.
During a routine inspection of one of the 750 kV overhead lines, missile fragments were found near a tower. They were removed by the State Emergency Service. The line does not require repair.
In Donetsk region, hostile shelling damaged the power grid supplying one of the mines; the facility is out of operation.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.51 metres. This is enough to meet the plant’s needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 10,867 MWh. No exports are planned.
