No electricity shortage, three TPP units restored to operation after repairs
Power generation and consumption
No electricity deficit was recorded yesterday. During the current day, consumers’ needs will be covered by domestic generation, and electricity imports are also planned.
A generating unit at one of the hydroelectric power plants was put out for short-term repairs. At the same time, three generation facilities at TPPs have returned to operation after emergency repairs.
The situation is under control. No outage schedules are applied.
Consequences of shelling
As a result of hostilities, an overhead power line in Kherson region was damaged, which has led to restrictions on the operation of Kherson CHPP, damaged heating networks and disconnected household consumers. The damage is currently localised, with about 15 houses without heat supply.
Power lines in Chernihiv region were cut off due to enemy shelling. About 2,000 consumers in 18 settlements were cut off from electricity supply.
State of the grid
Due to technical reasons, equipment at a 220 kV substation in Odesa was briefly disconnected, household consumers were cut off. All consumers have now been reconnected.
Situation at the ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.62 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
Import/export
Electricity imports for the current day amount to 2,535 MWh. No exports are expected.
