Situation in the energy system as of 14 April
The situation in the power system as of 14 April: the enemy shelled the energy infrastructure in Kharkiv region; electricity generation from renewable energy sources was limited.
GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Yesterday, due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, outage schedules were applied in Kharkiv region, and the restrictions are still in effect today.
Due to the sunny weather and, accordingly, active generation of electricity by SPPs, the transmission system operator limited the generation of electricity from renewable sources.
Ukraine's power system is operating in a stable and balanced manner.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
The enemy shelled the energy infrastructure in Kharkiv region. Equipment was cut off.
The hostilities damaged equipment on a high-voltage overhead line in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The shelling damaged overhead lines in Chernihiv region, partially cutting off power to a settlement.
The hostilities damaged gas distribution networks in Kharkiv region. Gas supply was cut off to 340 households.
STATE OF THE GRID
Equipment caught fire at high-voltage substations in Odesa region. The fires were extinguished by the State Emergency Service.
As a result, household consumers in 4 settlements were disconnected from electricity supply.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.48 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
