No electricity deficit recorded, an additional 120 MW TPP unit put into operation
Power generation and consumption
There is no shortage of electricity in the power system. Domestic generation is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers, and electricity imports are planned for the current day. The system is balanced.
Two TPP units were put out of service for emergency short-term repairs, while a 120 MW TPP unit was put back into operation after long-term conservation and subsequent renovation. The situation is under control. No blackout schedules are applied.
Consequences of shelling
The shelling of a 10 kV overhead line in Chernihiv region resulted in simultaneous power outages for about 900 consumers in 13 settlements.
Import/export
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 5,563 MWh, while no exports are expected.
Situation at the ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond – it is 15.61 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
