Electricity needs of consumers covered by domestic generation and commercial imports

Due to grid restrictions on the transmission system operator’s lines, blackout schedules were applied yesterday in Kharkiv region and for industry in Kryvyi Rih. Restrictions in these regions are still in effect today. In other regions, consumers were not restricted yesterday.

Over the past day, consumers’ needs were covered by domestic generation and commercial imports. Emergency assistance was not requested.

STATUS OF THE GRID

For technological reasons, equipment at one of the high-voltage substations in Poltava region was briefly switched off, which resulted in a power outage for household consumers. The consumers have been supplied with power, and the cause of the outage is being investigated.

In Kherson region, equipment was disconnected at one of the regional power company’s substations. As a result, solar generation facilities were de-energised, while household consumers were supplied with power. The cause of the outage is being investigated.

SITUATION AT ZNPP

The water level in the cooling pond is 15.40 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.

IMPORT/EXPORT

For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 11,159 MWh.
