There is no electricity shortage in the power system, but the Ministry of Energy calls for reasonable electricity consumption
Power generation
Despite the rapid growth in electricity consumption, domestic generation is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. Imports are also planned for the current day.
Two TPP units have been shut down for emergency short-term repairs. At the same time, three units of generating equipment have been put back online after the repair. The situation is stable and under control. No outage schedules are applied.
Consequences of shelling
As a result of massive rocket attack the day before, a 110 kV overhead line in Zaporizhzhia region was disconnected, but no consumers were cut off. An overhead line in Chernihiv region was de-energised as a result of shelling, leaving more than 800 consumers without power.
In Kharkiv, a fire broke out on the territory of two enterprises as a result of hostile shelling, and damage to a medium-pressure gas pipeline was detected during the inspection. Gas supply was cut off to the enterprises.
State of the grid
As a result of adverse weather, a 330 kV overhead line of NPC Ukrenergo in Dnipropetrovsk region was disconnected, requiring emergency repairs.
In Odesa region, an overhead line was disconnected at one of Ukrenergo’s substations, which resulted in a power outage for household consumers.
Situation at the ZNPP
A slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond is recorded – it is 15.62 metres. This is enough to meet the plant’s needs.
Import/export
Electricity imports for the current day amount to 1,950 MWh. No exports are planned.
