Customers in 7 regions were cut off due to shelling and technological disruptions.

    SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS

Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Donetsk region, four overhead power lines were disconnected due to enemy shelling, which led to power outages for more than 5,000 customers. Repairs are being carried out with the permission of the military.

In Sumy region, about 100 consumers were disconnected as a result of the morning missile attack. Repair work will begin with the permission of the military.

Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.

    STATE OF THE GRID

In Kirovohrad region, a 330 kV overhead line was out of service due to damage. The line was automatically re-energised and there were no customer outages.

    POWER GENERATION

Electricity generation is sufficient to cover consumption. Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which may be affected by russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.

    SITUATION IN THE REGIONS

In Ternopil region, a 110 kV overhead line was disconnected for technological reasons, which led to the de-energisation of five 110 kV substations and a power cut to 49,000 household consumers. The line was brought back online and consumers were supplied with power.

CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP

In Kherson, 6 kV networks and a transformer substation were partially completed over the past day to restore power to almost 800 consumers in several high-rise buildings. About 8,000 consumers remain without power in the city. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.

    SITUATION AT THE ZNPP

There is a slight decrease in the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond. It is currently at 16.01 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

    EXPORT/IMPORT

Over the past day, exports to Slovakia amounted to 4,664 MWh, and to Moldova – 1,903 MWh. There were no imports.
