Kherson power company building damaged due to shelling; schedules of customer outages to be applied from 15:00 to 24:00
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Yesterday, due to sunny weather, electricity generation from renewable energy sources was limited in the western regions of Ukraine during the daytime to prevent grid overload.
Also, in the southern and western regions, hourly restrictions were not applied until 18:00.
At the same time, in Kharkiv region, after the shelling, emergency blackouts were applied for several hours to prevent grid overload.
Restrictions on renewables are still possible today.
Today, hourly blackout schedules have already been in place from 0:00 to 7:00. They are also planned to be applied from 15:00 to 24:00.
The main reason for the restrictions is the enemy’s attacks on the energy infrastructure and the negative consequences of these attacks.
