Electricity restrictions applied in two regions; more than 200 settlements without electricity due to deteriorating weather conditions; a slight surplus of electricity recorded yesterday
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Due to the damage to NPC Ukrenergo’s equipment, there are grid restrictions and, accordingly, the inability to transmit the amount of electricity required by consumers in Kharkiv region – hourly outage schedules are in effect in the region. In Dnipropetrovsk region, emergency blackouts are in place following the morning enemy attack. Restrictions on electricity consumption have been lifted in Odesa and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Yesterday, the power grid experienced a slight surplus, which was transferred to the Polish power system at the request of Poland. There is currently no deficit in the power system. Commercial electricity imports are planned.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
An enemy missile attack targeted one of the gas infrastructure facilities in the western region of the country. The consequences are being assessed.
CONSEQUENCES OF BAD WEATHER
As a result of adverse weather conditions, 212 settlements in Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi regions and in the Carpathian region were cut off from electricity due to damaged power lines.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.52 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
