Ukrenergo’s overhead power lines were disconnected, and 11,000 consumers in Vinnytsia region were left without electricity due to damage in Moldova.
STATE OF THE GRID
Over the weekend, Ukrenergo’s overhead lines were disconnected several times. Due to damage, a 330 kV overhead line in Sumy region, which was in reserve, was put out for repair. The 330 kV and 400 kV lines in Lviv and Zakarpattia regions were also out of service.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
Due to damage in Moldova, the 110 kV interstate overhead line in Vinnytsia region was briefly disconnected. As a result, more than 11,000 consumers in Mohyliv-Podilskyi district lost power.
POWER GENERATION
Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which may be affected by russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Donetsk region, shelling caused damage to a gas pipeline, which led to a temporary restriction of electricity generation.
In Chernihiv region, 10 settlements were cut off from electricity supply due to enemy shelling. In Kharkiv region, a gas pipeline was damaged by shelling, which resulted in a cut in gas supply to some customers. Repair works are underway.
Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson and Kharkiv regions also remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
In Kherson, restoration works are underway in the Ostriv neighbourhood. Over the weekend, about 150 consumers were supplied with electricity, while about 10,100 customers remain without power after the flooding. Repair crews are working to restore power supply, but the work is slowed down by shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
The water level in the ZNPP cooling pond is stable. It is currently at 16.11 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports over the past day totalled 3,299.00 MWh. Exports to Slovakia amounted to 200 MWh, and to Moldova – 4 MWh.
