The building of one of the TPP units is out of repair, 330 kV line of NPC Ukrenergo was out of service
Power generation
After the repair, the building of one of the TPP units has resumed operation, adding 125 MW of capacity to the grid.
The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. Yesterday afternoon, restrictions were imposed for an hour on the production of renewable energy sources with a total capacity of 300 MW.
Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which will take place in the face of russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
State of the grid
Ukrenergo’s 330 kV overhead power line was out of service in Dnipropetrovsk region. The line was restored to operation in automatic mode, and consumers did not lose power.
Situation in the frontline areas
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Sumy region, three 10 kV overhead power lines were cut off due to shelling of the border areas. In total, twenty-four 10 kV lines were damaged in the region, leaving about 3,000 customers without electricity. In addition, the shelling of the border areas in Kharkiv region damaged power lines. Over 2,000 customers lost power overnight. Repair work has started with the permission of the military.
Some customers in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam blow-up
In Kherson, efforts are underway to restore power grids damaged by the flood. Over 800 grid access points have been powered up over the past day. About 3,000 consumers remain without power in the city. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.
Situation at the ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond. It is currently at 15.90 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
Exports/imports
Commercial electricity imports totalled 319.00 MWh over the past day. Exports to Slovakia amounted to 3,006.00 MWh, and to Moldova – 1,816.00 MWh.
