NPC Ukrenergo’s transmission lines were out of service three times, and the city of Kupyansk was left without gas supply due to shelling.
STATE OF THE GRID
Ukrenergo’s 330 kV overhead power line feeding the Chornobyl NPP was out of service, the reasons for the outage are being investigated. A 330 kV line was out of service for several hours in Dnipropetrovsk region due to a broken cable. The line was reconnected after emergency repairs. The 330 kV overhead line in Zaporizhzhia region was also out of service for a short time.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE AREAS
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. A gas pipeline was damaged in Kharkiv region as a result of hostilities. Gas supply to the town of Kupyansk has been cut off, leaving about 4,500 customers without gas. Work to restore the gas network is ongoing. In the Kharkiv region, shelling damaged power lines and cut off electricity to 11,000 consumers in the town of Vovchansk and neighbouring villages. Work is ongoing to restore power supply.
Some customers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair crews work where the security situation allows.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
In Kirovohrad region, a 150 kV substation and two 150 kV overhead lines were out of service for technological reasons, which limited generation at three SPPs for several hours. In Dnipropetrovsk region, more than 8,000 consumers were left without electricity due to the outage of a 150 kV line.
In Sumy region, two 10 kV power lines were disconnected due to a technological failure, leaving 1,500 consumers in three settlements without electricity.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE BAD WEATHER
As a result of a thunderstorm, 18 settlements in Chernihiv region remain without power. Almost 3,000 customers are cut off. Repair works are ongoing.
POWER GENERATION
In preparation for the upcoming heating season, a large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
About 10,500 consumers remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down due to shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond. It is currently at 16.15 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports over the past day amounted to 6,295.00 MWh. There were no exports.
