No power outages are planned during the day until the evening peak load hours; 23,000 customers in Vinnytsia region lost power due to the fall of drone wreckage

POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION

Yesterday, the needs of consumers were covered by domestic generation, commercial imports and emergency assistance from the power systems of Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

Also yesterday, during the daytime, Ukraine provided emergency assistance to Poland, receiving surplus electricity.

Today, no emergency assistance was provided at night and during the morning peak consumption hours. At the same time, stabilisation blackouts were applied.

In general, both industrial and residential consumers were subjected to rolling blackouts in all regions except Kherson. Hourly outage schedules will be applied today from 19:00 until the end of the day.

CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING

In Vinnytsia region, equipment at a power facility was damaged as a result of the fall of enemy drone fragments. More than 23,000 customers in 4 settlements lost power. By the morning, most of them were restored.

STATE OF THE GRID

In Sumy region, a high-voltage overhead line was briefly out of service for technological reasons. As a result, a heat generating company and household consumers in Sumy, railway facilities were cut off, and household consumers (about 182,000), the subway, heating networks and water treatment plants in Kharkiv were cut off. All consumers have been reconnected.

SITUATION AT ZNPP

The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.32 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.

IMPORT/EXPORT

For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 22,489 MWh. No exports are expected.
