Network consumption restrictions in effect in Kharkiv and Kryvyi Rih; more than 800 consumers in Sumy and Kharkiv regions without gas due to shelling
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Due to grid restrictions on the transmission system operator’s lines, outage schedules were applied in Kharkiv region and for industry in Kryvyi Rih, and the restrictions are still in place.
During the evening peak load hours, electricity was supplied from Romania, Poland and Slovakia. Commercial electricity imports are planned for the current day. No exports are planned.
The power system is currently operating in a stable and balanced manner.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
A high-voltage overhead line in Donetsk region was disconnected due to the hostilities. After emergency repairs, the line was put back online.
Shelling in Kharkiv and Sumy regions damaged gas distribution pipelines. As a result, 370 households in Kharkiv and 430 in Sumy regions were left without gas supply.
NETWORK STATUS
An overhead line in Kharkiv region was disconnected due to technical reasons, which resulted in a power outage at high-voltage substations and overhead lines supplying residential consumers in Kharkiv and the region. The power was restored within two hours. At night, there were again short-term emergency outages of high-voltage lines in Kharkiv region, and power supply is being restored to consumers.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.47 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
