Due to the night shelling, some consumers in Odesa were left without electricity, and customers in Lutsk were cut off due to equipment failure at Ukrenergo substation.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING
As a result of the night shelling in Odesa, a 110 kV overhead power line was disconnected, which led to a power outage for about 2,000 customers. The electricity supply was restored within an hour and a half.
STATE OF THE GRID
On Saturday and Sunday, power lines and substations of NPC Ukrenergo were out of service for technological reasons six times in Volyn, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Poltava regions. In Volyn region, the outage resulted in a power cut to almost 2,500 consumers in Lutsk, and on Sunday, the outage in Khmelnytskyi region disrupted train traffic.
POWER GENERATION
In preparation for the upcoming heating season, a large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
An accident occurred in the town of Dergachi, Kharkiv region. The driver of a local trucking company, while driving a truck, struck a power line with the body of the vehicle and was electrocuted. He was pronounced dead by paramedics. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
In Kherson, 11,300 consumers remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. The shelling has cut off power to 418 settlements in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Luhansk, Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is stable. It is currently at 16.19 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports over the past day amounted to 4,375.00 MWh. There were no exports.
