Electricity generation covers the needs of consumers; gas equipment damaged in Kyiv region due to a drone attack.

    POWER GENERATION

The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. Yesterday, restrictions on renewable energy generation were applied for four daytime hours in different regions with a total capacity of 1,290 MW.

Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which may take place in the context of russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.

    CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING

In Kyiv region, a drone attack damaged a gas control point, which disconnected about 200 consumers from gas supply, including residents of apartment buildings in one of the settlements. Repairs are ongoing.

    SITUATION IN THE REGIONS

In Vinnytsia region, a 110 kV overhead line was disconnected for technological reasons, which led to a short-term blackout of two 110 kV substations and, accordingly, a power cut to 22,000 consumers. All of them were supplied with power.

In the city of Dnipro, a 10 kV overhead line was disconnected for technological reasons, leaving about 2,000 consumers without power. Work is ongoing to restore electricity supply.

    SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE AREAS

Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Kharkiv region, power engineers are repairing the networks damaged by shelling. Over the past day, repair crews have connected about 100 consumers. In particular, they reconnected consumers who had been waiting for electricity since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair teams are working where the security situation allows.

CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP

About 8,000 consumers in Kherson remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.

    SITUATION AT THE ZNPP

There is a slight decrease in the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond. It is currently 15.97 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

    EXPORT/IMPORT

Commercial electricity imports over the past day totalled 600.00 MWh. Exports to Slovakia totalled 2,667.00 MWh, and to Moldova – 1,676.00 MWh.
