Generation and consumption
There has been no shortage of electricity in the Ukrainian power system. Domestic generation is sufficient to meet the needs of all consumers. Commercial imports and exports of electricity are planned as well.
The company has 10 thermal generation units in reserve to be used if necessary.
The situation is under control. The system is balanced. No blackout schedules are applied.
Consequences of the shelling
In Kharkiv, power supply was restored to consumers disconnected after the drone attack the day before. In Donetsk region, power engineers have also reconnected all coal mining enterprises that were cut off due to shelling over the past day.
This morning, an overhead power line in Kharkiv region was disconnected as a result of hostile shelling. As a result, the 110 kV substation and household consumers lost power. Hostilities are taking place in the area.
Import/export
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 1300 MWh. Exports are also expected to reach 2700 MWh.
