There is no electricity shortage, but due to high consumption, the Ministry of Energy calls for economical use of electricity during peak hours
Power generation
Despite a significant increase in electricity consumption, domestic generation is sufficient to cover the needs of consumers, and electricity imports are also planned for the current day. One unit of generating equipment was put out of service for emergency short-term repair. At the same time, a TPP unit was put back online after the repair.
The situation is under control. No outage schedules are applied.
Consequences of shelling
A 330 kV overhead line in Donetsk region was disconnected during artillery shelling. The line needs emergency repairs.
A 10 kV overhead line in a border community in Chernihiv region was cut off as a result of shelling. As a result, 650 consumers in seven settlements lost power supply.
In Nikopol district, a low-pressure gas inlet pipeline was damaged as a result of hostilities. 60 customers were left without gas supply.
Situation at the ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.62 metres. This is enough to meet the plant’s needs.
Import/export
Electricity imports for the current day amount to 2,223 MWh. No exports are planned.
