    Two wind farms in the south of the country were shut down due to shelling, electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is enough to cover consumer demand

    CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING

    Due to hostile shelling in the southern region, a 220 kV power line was disconnected. Two wind farms were also shut down. Their operation has been restored.

    POWER GENERATION

    The power generating facilities are operating normally. The coal and fuel oil stocks are sufficient for the uninterrupted operation of the plants. The volume of electricity generated is sufficient to fully meet the needs of consumers and industry.

    SITUATION IN THE REGIONS

    In Kirovograd region, 390 consumers were disconnected for technological reasons. Repair works are underway.

    SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS

    In Donetsk region, 23 settlements were cut off from power supply as a result of hostilities over the past day. Power supply was restored to over 11,500 customers.

    In Zaporizhzhia region, 1 settlement remains partially without power due to technological reasons. In Mykolaiv region, 1 settlement is partially disconnected, and 1,010 residential and 26 non-residential consumers are without power. Work is underway to restore power supply.

    In addition, 53 consumers in Dnipropetrovsk region were cut off for technological reasons.

    Some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions remain without power supply. In total, over 16,000 customers have been reconnected over the past day.

    Gas supply is also being restored. Yesterday, gas companies restored gas supply to some consumers in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia region (about 50 customers).

    SITUATION AT THE ZNPP

    The water level in the nuclear power plant’s cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.66 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

    EXPORT/IMPORT

    Commercial electricity imports from Slovakia and Romania totalled 1,365 MWh over the past day. Exports to Slovakia, Romania and Moldova totalled 3,485 MWh.

    In addition, during the daytime, the transmission system operator Ukrenergo sold surplus electricity to Poland in the total amount of 510 MWh.
