No electricity shortage; the enemy attacked a high-voltage substation
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
As of this morning, no emergency power cuts are applied. Hourly curtailment schedules are in place in Kharkiv and grid restrictions on consumption for industry in Kryvyi Rih district.
There is no electricity shortage. Commercial imports are planned.
Yesterday, a surplus was recorded in the system – due to sunny weather and, accordingly, intensive electricity generation by solar power plants during the day, NPC Ukrenergo reduced the load of renewable energy facilities by a total of 1,739 MWh.
The power system is currently operating in a stable and balanced manner.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
UAV strikes were detected at a high-voltage substation in Zaporizhzhia region. Equipment was damaged.
As a result of hostilities, a medium-pressure gas pipeline to a fire station in Kharkiv district was damaged. A part of the settlement and a municipal facility were left without gas supply.
NETWORK STATUS
Equipment at a substation in Odesa region was disconnected due to a technological malfunction, which resulted in a power outage in Odesa. Within three hours, all consumers were reconnected.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.51 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 14,296 MWh. A small export of up to 240 MWh is also expected.
