    Consequences of the bad weather

As a result of a thunderstorm that swept across the country and the ensuing technological disruptions, 152 settlements were without power supply: 79 settlements in Zakarpattia region, 44 settlements in Lviv region, 26 settlements in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 2 settlements in Chernihiv region, and 1 settlement in Sumy region.

    Consequences of the shelling

    Power generation

The repair campaign at thermal, hydro and nuclear power generation facilities is ongoing. Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. There is no shortage.

    Situation in the frontline areas

The enemy’s terror of the frontline and border regions with russia continues. Some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions are left without electricity due to shelling.

Repair teams are working where the security situation allows.

Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam blow-up

Efforts are underway to record and eliminate the consequences of the flood caused by the dam blast. In Kherson, 12,700 customers are still without power.

Power engineers are working to restore power supply. Restoration work has been slowed down, in particular, due to constant shelling.

    Situation at the ZNPP

The water level in the cooling pond remains unchanged. It is currently at 16.4 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
