Consequences of weather
As a result of a thunderstorm that hit the country, consumers in several regions were temporarily left without power. In particular, 28 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region lost power, leaving almost 12,000 consumers without electricity. Almost all of them have now been reconnected.
In Kyiv region, 34 settlements remain without power, in Sumy region - 18, and in Chernihiv region - 16.
Situation in the frontline regions
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. As a result of the shelling, part of the consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions lost power. In Kharkiv region, over 9,000 consumers lost power due to shelling.
A mine in Donetsk region has also lost power and is undergoing repair work.
Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
Generation
The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. There is no shortage.
Consequences of Kakhovka HPP dam blast
The company continues to record and eliminate the consequences of the flood caused by the dam explosion. In Kherson, 13,000 customers are still without power.
Power engineers are working to restore power supply.
Situation at ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond. It now stands at 16.56 metres. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant.
Situation in the regions
More than 1,000 consumers in Odesa Oblast were cut off from electricity supply due to technological disruptions.
Exports/imports
Commercial electricity imports over the past day totalled 4,989 MWh. No exports were reported.
