Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko met with Director of the Energy Community Secretariat Artur Lorkowski. The meeting took place in Vienna, where the delegation of the Ministry of Energy is attending a meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors.

The Minister of Energy stressed that the enemy continued to attack the Ukrainian energy sector, with russia's main goal being the destruction of energy facilities, currently mainly in industrial areas. The Minister is convinced that in this way, the russians are trying to inflict maximum damage to the Ukrainian economy.

The parties discussed areas of cooperation to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure, in particular at the expense of the Energy Support Fund, which had been established at the initiative of German Galushchenko and European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson and is operated by the Energy Community Secretariat. They also touched upon preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference to be held in Berlin in 2024.

Separately, the parties focused on further integration of Ukrainian energy markets into European ones.
