Today, October 24, in Sydney (Australia), the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak met with members of the national team of Ukraine who took part in the Invictus Games.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine congratulated Ukrainian veterans on their sports achievements at the international competitions Invictus Games.

"I am pleased to see you win again. You have once again proved what you can do and what you did at the front – vanquished the enemy, then overcame your problems. During the competition you win in the sports. It is very important that each of you is here today, and each of you is worthy to represent the honor of our country on the international arena", stressed Stepan Poltorak.

"We evaluate the military experience of people who participated in hostilities and were injured as a result of hostilities in the East of Ukraine. The Ukrainian army needs such military personnel. And recently, I signed an order under which the soldiers who got injuries, but remain motivated and ready to share combat experience will have an opportunity to serve in military units and institutions", said Stepan Poltorak.

"It’s rather momentous when people with injuries return to the military service. The country as well as the Ukrainian Army needs you", noted Stepan Poltorak.
