Become a friend of the Drone Line: support units via the new UNITED24 app

UNITED24, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has launched Ukraine’s first national mobile app to support frontline units. The focus is on the most effective UAV combat units within the framework of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s flagship Drone Line initiative. Become a friend of these units and part of a community that makes a real impact.

“We’re taking fundraising to a new level with the launch of the UNITED24 app. It’s more than just a convenient donation tool – it’s a revolution in how donors and recipients interact. People from any country can see in real-time how their contributions are used, maintain direct contact with units, learn about their needs, and receive gratitude.

The UNITED24 platform, initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has already raised over USD 1.45 billion, and with the new app, supporting Ukraine is faster and more convenient. It’s about trust, openness, and technology that makes aid as effective as possible,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Features of the UNITED24 app

• Direct donations: Choose a unit and send support directly to its account.
• Personalisation: Create your avatar and callsign to join the digital community.
• Content from the military: News, photos, videos, and frontline stories within the app.
• Statistics and rankings: Track your donations, earn badges, and view your position in the overall ranking.

Participating Defence Forces units

• 427th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Rarog”: Evolved from a company to a regiment, combining experience, modern technology, and effective management. Ensures high-quality training and support for frontline comrades.
• 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “K-2”: Grew from a small reconnaissance group to a regiment. Uses cutting-edge technology and progressive UAV tactics, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
• 414th Separate Strike Unmanned Aviation Systems Brigade “Madyar’s Birds”: A tech-driven unit established in 2022. Conducts target destruction, electronic reconnaissance, electronic warfare, remote mining, patrolling, and strike coordination – a versatile strike-reconnaissance brigade.
• 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Achilles”: One of the most advanced strike and reconnaissance UAV units. Over two years, it has destroyed more than 20,000 targets. It has its own infrastructure, including electronic warfare/reconnaissance, air defence, drone workshops, and an R&D centre.
• Main Unmanned Aviation Systems Department “Phoenix” of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine: Established in August 2024, this unit quickly proved its effectiveness in combat and continuous improvement of UAV tactics.

How to use the new app

• Download the UNITED24 app from the App Store or Google Play. Available in Ukrainian and English interfaces.
• Authorise via Diia or email, provide your email address, and choose a callsign.
• On the main page, browse unit profiles, read about their structure and combat history, and view their photos and stories.
• Tap “donate” and select a unit for one-time or regular support. If choosing a favourite is difficult, select “I don’t know,” and the app will pick a unit for you.
• The app will direct you to a page to select or enter a donation amount. For regular donations, activate the toggle.
• In the “My Profile” section, track your activity – donations and ranking.

Donations go directly to the units’ accounts, and you receive reports and frontline stories, all unified within a single app.
