Today Ukraine and Ukrainian politics need the ability to provide new approaches to solving problems within the State - both geopolitical challenges and internal economic challenge - but not new personalities. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said on air of The Freedom of Speech program.
"People feel a great demand for change. But what we see now is an attempt to replace the concept when we want concrete changes, but we are offered new faces - people who are unknown even to the leaders of political forces. We do not know whether they are capable for change or not", said Volodymyr Groysman. "We should get a new angle on the issue, namely - whether the political forces are capable of changing approaches. For me, Ukrainian politics implies not new personalities, but love for Ukraine and prudence to ensure that the problems facing us receive fundamental and professional solutions."
The Head of Government considers as such new approaches the following achievements: decentralization reform, the New Ukrainian School, the introduction of e-governance principles and other changes introduced by the Government. "When we came we had nil, and today we have 125 electronic services used by hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians", the Head of Government added.
He stressed that Ukraine badly needs to take fundamental and complex decisions - both in politics and in the economy.
"The economy should demonstrate a higher growing trend than we have today. For me, as a social Prime Minister, the topmost mission is raising salaries and pensions, creating new jobs", said Volodymyr Groysman. "I say no to disappointment, no to mistakes, we must adopt correct decisions."
