Today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft Order of the President of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Order of the President of Ukraine of October 19, 2012 № 195".

The project contains a proposal to update the composition of the group of representatives of Ukraine in the Coordination Group of the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership Fund and to determine the appropriate representative of Ukraine in the Assembly of Contributors of the Fund.

In particular, it is proposed to appoint the chairman of the group of representatives and a representative in the Assembly of Contributors acting Minister of Energy Olha Buslavets.

The Government approved the draft Order with amendments to supplement the composition of the group of representatives.

Within the framework of the Fund's work, a number of meetings are planned to be held annually, in particular the Assembly of Contributors of the Fund, which is planned to be held in early December this year, as well as a number of meetings of the Fund's Coordinating Group.

It should be noted that in order to continue Ukraine's participation in the E5P Fund, on July 23, 2020, Olha Buslavets signed an Agreement on Contribution between Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development regarding Ukraine's participation in the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership Fund.
