The Government has made a decision that will allow the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development to direct UAH 2 billion to modernize, build and maintain checkpoints at the state border. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"This is part of the Government's priority reform A European Border. It envisages that citizens and businesses will have an opportunity to cross the border with European countries quickly, conveniently and bureaucracy-free," the Head of Government said.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution that will allow to allocate a grant of UAH 1.8 billion to restore critical logistics infrastructure and automobile communication. This is a grant from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the RELINC project.
