Timely and full pay for miners is one of the key parameters for the stable operation of the coal industry and the energy sector in general. This was emphasized by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a regular meeting of the Government on July 21.
"Today, the Government is adopting new rules, according to which mines that have debts to employees must use 80% of the proceeds from the sale of products. This will help mining companies to pay for old wage arrears and not create new ones," stressed Denys Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister also reminded of the preparations for the launch in Ukraine of a program for the fair transformation of coal regions, in which new enterprises, new business opportunities and a new quality of social infrastructure should become an integral part.
