At a meeting of the Coordination Council for the Protection of the Rights of Veterans and Their Families, Prisoners of War and Missing Persons, priority steps were defined to improve the system for identifying the bodies of fallen defenders. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi.

"By mid-October, the Government will adopt all the necessary regulations so that forensic medical examination bureaus in the regions work faster and better," the Head of Government stressed.

According to him, another important issue is the approval of international agreements that will help strengthen the search for missing defenders and their identification. "Our international partners are ready to actively help us with this, and we must take advantage of this opportunity," the Prime Minister emphasized.

Sergii Koretskyi expressed gratitude to the Head of the Office of the President, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Government officials, law enforcement agencies, and the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights for the joint work.
