Sergii Koretskyi: Ukraine secures USD 841 million from the World Bank under Government of Canada guarantees

Ukraine has secured USD 841 million from the World Bank under guarantees provided by the Government of Canada. The funds will be used to cover state budget expenditures on pension payments. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi.
The financing was raised under the PEACE in Ukraine project, following agreements reached in September. The project's total volume has now reached USD 54.3 billion.
"This is the largest investment project in the World Bank's history and one of the key mechanisms supporting Ukraine's financial resilience. Thank you to the Government of Canada and the World Bank for their important and timely support to Ukraine amid a significant budget deficit," said Sergii Koretskyi.
