Sergii Koretskyi held a phone conversation with the World Bank Managing Director of Operations

Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhii Koretskyi held a phone conversation with Anna Bjerde, the World Bank’s Managing Director of Operations.

The Head of Government thanked her personally and the entire World Bank team for their support of Ukraine — in particular for the SPUR 2 initiative, which opens opportunities to attract private capital for the reconstruction of the country.

The parties discussed the continuation of reforms, the annual preparation of the RDNA report to assess damages from russian aggression, as well as the implementation of programs that will contribute to energy modernization and the development of Ukraine’s economy.

Sergii Koretskyi invited Ms. Anna Bjerde to visit Kyiv. He also noted that the Government is preparing for the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group due to take place in October.
