The Minister of Education and Science Serhii Shkarlet met in Paris with Ms. Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education, within the framework of the UN Transforming Education Pre-Summit.

The parties discussed the implementation of support projects for Ukraine by the Global Education Coalition under the auspices of UNESCO to overcome the consequences caused by the military aggression of the russian federation.

Ms. Stefania Giannini expressed her solidarity with Ukraine and assured of the absolute support of our citizens.

"I thank Ms. Stefania Giannini for her assistance and the measures taken to support the Ukrainian educational and scientific system amidst the martial law. I hope that the documents of the Transforming Education Summit to be held this year in September, will reflect information on UNESCO's support for Ukrainian education in the conditions of the unprecedented military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine," said Serhii Shkarlet.
