  • Rustem Umerov together with Dmytro Kuleba took part in Paris conference in support of Ukraine

    Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov together with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba took part in the ministerial session that concluded the Paris conference in support of Ukraine.

    The parties discussed ways to strengthen assistance to Ukraine in several important areas: arms and weapons production, cyber defence, ammunition, and deep strike capabilities.

    “We are grateful that our partners understand our immediate priorities and long-term needs. It is clear to everyone that our common security depends on the cessation of russian aggression,” Rustem Umerov stressed.

    The Defence Minister also informed his colleagues about the situation at the frontline: “I pointed out the existing problems, such as mine contamination. I am pleased to hear that the much-needed ammunition production capacity is increasing. And our unity is also growing.”

    In addition, Rustem Umerov congratulated Sweden on joining NATO.
