Operation of the power system of Ukraine on June 5, 2022

Over the past 24hrs, power supply to about 9,000 consumers who were cut off due to hostilities has been restored. Gas supply to 3,200 consumers restored.

Ukrainian energy companies are making every effort to quickly restore energy supply to Ukrainian citizens.

However, in some areas, emergency recovery work is difficult or impossible due to the intensification of hostilities, demining work and the emergence of new damage to the grid.

As of June 5, about 723 settlements and a total of about 652.300 consumers in Ukraine remain without electricity due to the damage caused by hostilities. In particular, in Donetsk region - 358,100, in Luhansk - more than 128,200, Kharkiv - about 72,400 consumers.

164,000 consumers are left without gas supply.
