In the second quarter of 2024, the State Customs Service processed 25,500 transit declarations under the common transit procedure (NCTS), which is 2,000 more than in the previous quarter. Most of them, about 15,000, were processed using the new NCTS Phase 5 system.
Thus, despite the process of business transition to NCTS Phase 5, which took place on 22 April 2024, the dynamics of issuing declarations under the common transit procedure has not slowed down: the second quarter of 2024 was the most productive since the start of the international use of the “customs visa-free regime” on 1 October 2022.
The total number of declarations processed reached 91,000.
The number of successfully completed movements also increased between April and June 2024:
Each of the indicators exceeded the achievements of the first quarter by about 1,000.
