Regions of defence: Minister Herman Smetanin met with arms manufacturers of Zakarpattia region

On 30 October, Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin met with arms and military equipment manufacturers operating in Zakarpattia region.

During the meeting, the manufacturers demonstrated their military products. These included drones of various types, ammunition, electronic warfare equipment, turrets, and more.

During the meeting, the Minister and the manufacturers discussed the issues and problems that are of most concern to the entrepreneurs. In particular, they discussed the reservation of staff, loans for defence manufacturers and product testing – the Iron Range project. The Minister spoke about state support and public-private cooperation, as well as the Ministry’s plans and priorities for the development of the defence industry.
