The regular meeting in the Ramstein format has demonstrated our partners’ unwavering support for Ukraine, said Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov, commenting on the results of the 14th meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, held today in a virtual format.

The priority of today’s meeting was to provide Ukraine with urgently needed weapons and equipment for the liberation of the occupied territories.

“Focus: Air defence, ammo and armour. New initiatives!” the Minister said.

Oleksii Reznikov thanked the Defence Ministers of Luxembourg and Estonia, François Bausch and Hanno Pevkur, for presenting concrete steps to develop the IT Coalition, and the Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Arvydas Anušauskas and the Lithuanian people for the initiative to create a demining coalition.

“Special thanks to a great friend of Ukraine and my dear friend Lloyd Austin for leading an unprecedented coalition against evil. Together, we are working hard to achieve victory, a just peace and a better future,” the Minister stressed.
