All development programs are preserved in the draft state budget for 2019, says Volodymyr Groysman
The draft State Budget for 2019 submitted by the Government on time and as required by the current legislation encapsulates priorities and development programs that are already being implemented. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said in a comment to media outlets.
"This includes roads, farmers support programs, health initiatives, energy efficiency, etc. This is a balanced budget that will generate growth of the country",Volodymyr Groysman emphasized.
He recalled that the Government expects economic growth next year to the tune of 3% and inflation - less than 8%.
"The most sensitive issue for us is a debt question. This is a pressing challenge, and together with our international partners we are looking for a soft solution", the Head of Government added.
Background
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine includes military expenditures to the tune of UAH 209 billion into the draft state budget, total expenditures on education - UAH 242.1 billion, expenditures on construction and reconstruction of roads - UAH 56 billion.
