Construction of the Dnipro – Tsarychanka – Kobeliaky – Reshetylivka highway continues

Construction of the Dnipro – Tsarychanka – Kobeliaky – Reshetylivka highway continues in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This new N‑31 road is one of the key routes providing automobile connection between Dnipro, Kyiv, and central regions of Ukraine. Work is being carried out on a 29.5 km section.

Currently, crews are laying the middle asphalt concrete layer, installing drainage and water disposal systems, building sand embankments, and constructing the road structure. Drainage from the median strip, work on artificial structures, and relocation of engineering communications are also underway.

More than 350 units of machinery and nearly 600 builders are involved. The N‑31 is a vital artery for both humanitarian and military logistics, with thousands of vehicles traveling daily.

The project was suspended at the start of the full‑scale invasion. However, between 2017–2021, 28.6 km of new road were already built. At present, traffic moves along the old section, which is not designed for current intensity and load. Its pavement is heavily worn, so contractors carry out patch repairs to maintain passage.

Work resumed in spring 2026. The new road will have four lanes — two in each direction — and bypass the settlements of Loboykivka, Petrykivka, Mohyliv, Kytaihorod, Tsarychanka, and Liashkivka. By the end of the year, the first completed section is planned to open.
