We are continuing the systematic overhaul of management in the energy sector and now launching it in the defence sector: Yulia Svyrydenko

The Government continues the systematic overhaul of management in the energy sector and is now extending it to the defence sector, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced following today’s Cabinet meeting.

“Today the Government adopted the decisions we agreed upon at the meeting with the President,” Yulia Svyrydenko said.

An audit is being launched of JSC Ukrainian Defence Industry (Ukroboronprom), including its subsidiaries, as well as the Defence Procurement Agency and the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition.

“We will provide regular updates on the interim findings of the audit,” the Prime Minister stressed.

The process of renewing the supervisory boards of JSC Ukrainian Defence Industry, its subsidiaries, the Defence Procurement Agency and the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition has also begun.

In addition, according to Yulia Svyrydenko, the Government has requested the Accounting Chamber to carry out an audit of the activities of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) and the State Property Fund for the previous period.
