"The recent history of our state had begun. The Constitution became the basis we started to build our own democratic and sovereign Ukraine on. Of course, there were a number of difficulties along the way. We have to defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state with weapons in hand, create a completely new economic and social policy. To defend the democratic principles and principles of our state," Denys Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister stressed that the challenges and threats continue to face the country today, but the fundamental principles set out in the Constitution of Ukraine help to maintain the irreversible course of an independent, sovereign, democratic, European state.
"Person, his/her life and health, honor and dignity, inviolability and security are recognized in Ukraine as the highest social value." The role and power of these words depend on all of us. Each of us today is responsible for what Ukraine will be in the future. It is the responsibility to the ancestors and future generations of Ukrainians that is a uniting factor for all of us. As well as confidence that Ukraine will be a prosperous and happy state where peace reigns," the Head of Government stressed.
