The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission was instructed on the inadmissibility of non-compliance with the decisions of the Anti-Crisis Staff and while the Energoatom – on the requirement to adhere to the approved forecast balance.

Moreover, during the meeting, an issue of unprofitable activity of NNEGC "Energoatom" was raised. "The company should be allowed to trade at normal prices. Our task is to protect Energoatom. NNEGC incurs losses of minus UAH 1 billion every month due to the fact that it sells electricity at half price on the balancing market. It is cheaper not to trade than to trade at a loss. That is why our objective is to protect Energoatom and the staff of the enterprise," the Prime Minister said.

Consideration of these documents is important for the country's energy security and market functioning. Therefore, the headquarters made a proposal to speed up the consideration of such bills.
