The collaboration between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic representations should be stepped up in order to not only understand the national processes, but also to engage in them, in particular through the promotion of the country and the support of commodity producers as the foundation of economic growth. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine. The Head of Government stressed that such large meetings are held rarely - every two years. However, there is a need to conduct such meetings more often - at least once a year in a wide circle, as well as at the level of sectoral interaction - with line ministries.
"There should be a high-level collaboration between the Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions. The priority is one - Ukraine should demonstrate a strong economic growth", Volodymyr Groysman stressed and explained that it is possible to achieve such a growth by attracting investments, popularizing reforms and changes that already bring results, and promoting privatization opportunities. In this context, the Head of Government urged diplomats not to stand on the sidelines, especially when the transformations take place amid the complicated challenges of a hybrid war and a heavy debt burden.
"Ukraine now has a heavy state debt suppressing economic growth, but we know what to do to get rid of financial dependence in the medium and long term. Due to GDP growth, investments we must open Ukraine to the world as an attractive investment destination", the Prime Minister underscored.
